    ZWS-1 plant water potential meter

    Introduction:

The ZWS-1 plant water potential meter is an analytical instrument for determining the moisture content of a plant and its constituent components and the composition of the catheter juice of the de-wooding site. This instrument can be used to study the water relationship of plants and the relationship between plants and the environment. The ZWS-1 plant water potential meter is suitable for plant physiology, ecology, agronomy, forestry and pasture research. According to this, it is an important instrument for agricultural and forestry teaching and scientific research to guide the rational use of crops and forests and drought-resistant breeding.

The instrument is easy to operate, fast to test, and suitable for indoor and outdoor and field measurements.

    Instrument measurement principle:

In the continuous system of soil-plant-atmosphere, the rhizome of plants continuously absorbs water from the soil, and the leaves continuously evaporate to the surrounding environment to dissipate the water. In this gradient system of water potential, the root of the plant— There is also a water potential gradient relationship between the stems and the leaves, so that the small water column in the wooden conduit is affected by the negative pressure of the low water potential of the air, forming a pulling force for the upward transport of moisture. When the plant branches or leaves are cut, the tensioned water column in the conduit breaks and the water column contracts from the incision to the inside. Put the cut material into the pressure chamber of the instrument (see the next section for the procedure), so that one end of the slit protrudes out of the room and then pressurizes to rebalance the tension in the branches or leaves, pushing the small water column back to just At the time of the surface of the incision, the water droplet detecting probe automatically detects the bleeding of the water droplets and automatically latches the measurement data. The pressure value displayed by the instrument is the current plant water potential.

    Features:

1, large screen LCD display, full Chinese menu operation.

2, measurement method: automatic measurement, manual measurement one-button switching.

3, MPa and Bar two measurement units are available for selection.

    4. The pressure value displayed on the LCD screen is the current water potential of the plant.

5, powerful storage function, can store 4000 records.

    6. Delete all measurement data in one click.

7, can upload the computer through the USB cable, the host computer software automatically analyzes the measurement data.

    8. The measurement data can be viewed in the form of a report, and the time period query can be selected for viewing.

    9. The data stored in the record can be backed up and saved in EXCEL format for later recall.
